MobileMonday Singapore Peer Awards 2009

Innovation is crucial for the future success of the mobile industry in Singapore. MobileMonday Singapore will always strive to find, nurture and support the mobile innovations.

MobileMonday Singapore is calling for all nominations for the upcoming MobileMonday Singapore 2009 Peer Awards Competition to be held on Monday, 30 March 2009. Eligible Singapore-based mobile companies will take the stage to make a 5-minute pitch to a panel of expert judges.

Eligible companies are encouraged to submit your entries with your company name, brief summary of your product and a relevant web link to mobilemondaysingapore@gmail.com. The deadline for submission is Friday, 20 March 2009.

This award aims to reward and recognise the exciting innovations emanating from the local mobile industry. It also aims to build and showcase the innovations from various individual developers that bring status-quo-challenging new ideas that reinvents the mobile industry, while providing visibility on the global stage to investors, customers, the media and business partners.

Event Concept:
10 to 12 hottest mobile start-ups will have a brief time slot (of about 5 mins) to present their innovation in front of the audience and expert jury.

Companies must fall into one of the two categories:
1) Early Stage Start-Ups (Recently founded with angel funding)
2) Emerging Start-Ups (Operating between Series A - Series B)

Innovation Awards:
Among all the finalists at least 3 awards will be given:-

- Early Stage Start-Up Jury Award
- Emerging Start-Ups Jury Award
- Audience Award: All participants will vote for their winner

There is no restriction on the business model, platform or market segment. Whether you have a content, service or application, targeted at B2B or B2C customers and/or running on Java, Symbian, Flash, etc.
