IDA has launched an initiative, Applications-on-Multi-Platforms Simplify (AMPlify) for local mobile applications developers who can now gain advanced technical skills training and hands-on experience with leading mobile MNC partners.

Developers will receive training in technical areas from mobile MNC partners such as Google, Microsoft, Nokia and Research in Motion (RIM) including cross-platform technologies, web-based technologies, and user interface and experience design. They will also be given the opportunity to leverage the partners’ channels to market the solutions they have developed under the training period.
Prerequisites
The qualifying period spent on training is up to 1 year. The iLE applicants will work with the MNC partners to develop the training programme. The iLE applicants will also need to co-fund the training as well. The developer undergoing training needs to be a Singaporean citizen/PR. The MNC partner, which has been identified in the application, will have to be agreeable to work with the iLE applicant; and the iLE applicant must be agreeable to develop the training programme together with the MNC partner.
AMPlify leverages IDA’s Infocomm Leadership and Development Programme (iLEAD) under the niche technology area of Application Development. More information on the enhanced iLEAD programme can be found in the HERE.
